Espir Island is one of the many islands marking Lake Urmia. Situated to the East of Kaboodan Island, 27km off the Port of Galmankhaneh, Espir Island spans over an area of 1250 hectares. As part of the Lake Urmia National Park, the island is a habitat for bird species including flamingos, pelicans, seagulls and geese. The island has a pier and offers proper facilities for swimming and other water sports. The highest point of the island reaches an elevation of 1422 meters above sea level.

Two other small islands of Espiro and Espirak are in close vicinity of Espir Island.
