Shrine of Mohammad and Ibrahim
One of the most revered places of pilgrimage in the region, the shrine of Imam Musa Kazem’s grandsons Mohammad and Ibrahim is situated 10km east of Urmia. The discovery of five historical earth layers at the location indicates that the place had served as a cemetery through different ages, and new loads of earth had been piled on top of each other to form the different layers in time.
