Khatoon Bridge
Khatun Bridge is situated 2km southeast of the Khoy Township, crossing a big river 40km to the left of the Khoy-Salmas road. The bridge was constructed some time between the years 1170-1200 AH, on the orders of Ahmad Khan Donbeli.
It is 59.40m long, 8.70m wide and 6.48m high, and has seven big openings. Pillars and flood breakers made of relatively large, even stones form the bottom part of the structure. Khatun Bridge has undergone repair in the past decades.
