Because of the high average annual rainfall, West Azerbaijan has many lakes and rivers inhabited with various fish species. The natural potentials and the special geographical features of this province have made it a rare and relatively untouched fishing spot.

One of the Bari programs for the resort guests is a fishing trip to the Marmishoo Lake. The lake is situated 60 km West of Urmia down a lushly forested valley. It is one of the most beautiful and unique natural attraction of the province, providing a perfectly enjoyable experience for all fishing aficionados.
