Bari Tours
With a basin area of 50892 km², Lake Urmia is the second largest salt lake in the world after the Dead Sea Lake. The lake is marked by 102 natural islands, all of which have been registered as World Biosphere Reserves by the UNESCO. The waters, shores and islands of this lake are the natural habitats of more than 186 aquatic and wading birds, various rare species of animals such as the Iranian Yellow Deer, Armenian mouflon and ram, and migratory birds such as flamingos and shelducks. All these features in addition to the diverse vegetation and hot water and mineral springs have turned the whole region into a unique tourism attraction in the country.
Local tours are one of the most popular services offered by the Bari Tourist Resort. These tours are aimed at providing all tourists with a good opportunity to experience the natural attractions and wonderful sceneries of the region without putting too much pressure on their time schedule and travel budget. Knowledgeable tour guides well familiar with the history, geography and the nature of the region will accompany the Bari guests to guarantee an easy, enjoyable and educational expedition into the delightful nature and fascinating historic sites of West Azerbaijan.
